FLYING

Every air cadet gets the opportunity to have a flight each year. The aircraft of choice for air cadet flying is the Grob Tutor. It has great visibility from its large canopy and is agile enough to allow it to perform full aerobatics. You'll soon feel right at home in the Tutor and hungry for more flight time. As you progress through your air cadet career you will get the opportunity to prove that you have the aptitude for flying and bag yourself a prestigious flying scholarship.

DRILL & CEREMONIAL, SQUADRON BAND

Drill and parades are an important part of cadet life, with a major part to play in Remembrance Sunday parades, Battle of Britain Parades and other events. Getting involved in music is a great way of socialising and of promoting the ACO wherever you play to the public. If you show real talent you could take your playing to the next level in wing or regional bands or even the National Marching Band.
