CADET 150 PARADE—8th MAY 2010 Cadets from Rochester and the rest of Kent Wing took part in the Cadet 150 Parade in Celebration of VE Day. The day involved a parade through the city, a service in Rochester Cathedral and then a reception in Rochester Castle. 2010 is the 150th Anniversary of Cadet Forces in the UK and events are being held all over the country to celebrate this historic milestone. |

WING REVIEW—31st OCTOBER 2010 Cadets and staff from Rochester and the rest of Kent Wing went to Brompton Barracks for the Kent Wing Review by Air Commodore Barbara Cooper CBE RAF. 600 cadets and staff were on parade and were fortunate that the rain held off for the duration of the parade. Kent Wing also received the Millennium Sword for the most improved performance in the Duke of Edinburgh Award, the Jon Ford Trophy for the best ATC team in the Nijmegen Marches and the Gillan Trophy for the best performance in sports by a wing. |

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY—14th NOVEMBER 2010 Cadets and staff from Rochester Squadron joined sailors from HMS Chatham, soldiers from the Royal School of Military Engineering, the British Legion and other cadet units to mark Remembrance Sunday. The day consisted of a parade through Rochester High Street, a service at Rochester Cathedral and a march past. Following the parade, the squadron attended a reception at the Corn Exchange hosted by the Mayor of Medway. |
